Weirdville in Miniature

If you think Weirdville is bad, you should see the village under our tree--now, that is weird. Every year we try to find some new people to stick under there, but we didn't have such great choices this time around--even the Grim Reaper was sold out.  Bummer.

Here is a scuba diver waiting for the train to go......I the lake?
And if he is going to the lake, where is the blue couple going?  And why the
matching clothes?

This isn't weird--it's the farmer and his cows.  (Was there a run on blue paint that year??)

Oh, I think this was my choice--it's a guy in his undies eating his breakfast.  Emma put him by the horse stable because sitting in your undies eating breakfast isn't weird enough for us.
Look how nice his wife is--she's pouring more coffee for him.

Did ya ever wonder how those Sumo wrestlers get so darn fat?  Yep, they eat at the KFC.

Homeless Lady shopping for new car....

And there she is.....'Ole SilverPants, working the corner.  Sheesh.
She's so obvious.

Street view.
Bear in mind that the cats do not knock any of this down, believe it or not.
And yes, they walk around under the tree sometimes.

And last, but not least....
Santa got so busy this year, he hired a secretary.  There she sits, taking notes on who's been naughty or nice.  My guess is that Santa's Helper isn't on the "nice" list---but he doesn't mind.

Dear HR Lady, If you would like to promote a relatively happy and productive workplace, do not make anymore disparaging remarks about KFC! (You can say whatever you like about sumo wrestlers, though.)

Well, every town has to have its weirdos, right?

I read this on the Internet, so it must be true, right? The reason that Santa is so jolly is that he knows where all the naughty girls live. Could that be right?

Love that Kautz creativity that goes into recreating Weirdville each year.

I love this, Miniatures? Funky and amusing story line?

:-) LOL, as the kids say.

I think that if you are going to do a little town a slightly skewed take on it would be just the ticket - Can't imagine doing it any other way...

Your town needs goats.
That is all I have to say

You guys are hysterical!

Santa looks like he lost a few pounds. Must be that new secretary is keeping him in shape.

I love your guys Weirdville! The guy in his underwear at the stables and the farmer herding his cows through town are my favorites! :)

Fish--HR is here to make sure you are eating healthy at work too, my friend. HR sees and hears ALL!

Lisa--We've got more than our fair share, Lisa.

Chuck--Santa seems to find himself right next to his "helpers" every single year....he's no dummy. Emma takes full credit for the set-up this year.

Pearl--Well, you never know who you are gonna find under the tree from one year to the next. The Pope was probably the best find EVER though.

Grace--Yeah, right, Grace! Who else has a sumo wrestler and a Pope under their tree???? :)

Patty--Oooooh, we DO have goats!! I'm gonna get under there this weekend and get a shot of them just for you!

Vanilla--It's wee, but it's FUN!

Liz--Well, we are at least self-entertaining. :)

Ann--Or Santa's Helper.....

Candy--I like the guy in his undies too! I like the sense of humor of whoever is making these miniature people.

Thanks for the tour! You capture the weirdness of modeling and wrap it up for all of us to laugh at.
